One of our Favs did not disappoint! Friday Fish Taco special was terrific as was the clam chowder, pork tacos and side of slaw. The staff are friendly and really take care of customers.

One of my friends and I go to Buckhorn for lunch 3 or 4 times a year although I've never done a review for it before. I almost always have the 6oz Tri Tip Buck sandwich with Mac N Cheese and a drink. It's done with caramelized onions and au jus. My friend ordered the same, although only in the 4oz size with a side of Cole slaw. When the order arrived, it was very obvious that my 6oz sandwich was on his tray. That's not the first time it's happened so I was watching out for it. Last time it happened, I did end up paying for the bigger sandwich but eating the smaller of the two. The meat was tender and very flavorful. I usually pick one of their sauces to sprinkle over the top just for fun. Their Mac N Cheese is good, but not my favorite in town. The service is fast and courteous. The restaurant itself was busy today, but my buddy and I were able to talk in a normal tone which I always appreciate. We'll be back Buckhorn!

One of our family's go-to places when we're craving bbq! Didn't even notice this place until last year because it always seemed like a ghost town until new management took over. So glad we discovered it after the takeover because the customer service is top-notch and the food is always delicious! All the tri tip entrees are awesome, along with all the sides, and especially the cornbread muffins!! The sauces are crazy good, too. I didn't care for horseradish until I had it here. Their soups are so comforting as well. The manager, John, is so kind and generous. He always takes such great care of us when we come in and makes sure everything hits the spot for us. The place is always clean and well maintained, even when it's busy. Highly recommend this place!

I've had excellent salads. Love to get the create your own salad with grilled chicken. Best chicken ever.. Great black bean veggie burger and it's huge. You order at the counter. Very nice atmosphere and seating.

I've been to this location several times and love it here big dinning area and wonderful service. When you walk in you have two choices, you can order at the counter for food, or order at the bar for food and drinks. Every time I go to the bar area to order food and drinks the service is amazing. Especially Kennedy, she has good customer service skills and make a great old fashion! I typically order the burgers here which I believe tie with Samuel Horse Tavern in Old Folsom for best burgers. Their bbq is amazing as well. Their tri- tips are the best! Would highly recommend this place!

We recently took a road trip, and on the way back, we were all starving. Our usual stop wasn't great last time, so we checked Yelp for something different and found Buckhorn Grill in Rocklin. After studying the menu, we all ended up ordering the same sandwich--the Roadhouse Buck with tri-tip, fried onion strings, blue cheese crumbles, and their Red Ranch sauce, all on a toasted roll. I ordered sweet potato fries, my hubby got onion rings, and our son chose fried pickle spears--he won that round! Everything came with a side of their Red Ranch sauce... yum! Our food arrived quickly, which was a relief because we were so hungry. It was hot and looked fantastic. They offer three additional sauces for your sandwich: a hot BBQ sauce, a sweet BBQ sauce, and a horseradish sauce. We tried them all and loved them. The restaurant is conveniently located off I-80 at the Sierra College exit. Highly recommended for a delicious and satisfying meal!

Was here last night just to relax and enjoy the night sky. Service - overall they weren't bad. I think could be a bit more attentive with patio dining. Tables sometimes took a bit to clean. But it's a busy Friday. So I'll give it a pass. Food - I had tri tip buck. Sweet potato Fries. Drink. Tri tip wasn't bad. It needs seasoning. Without the au jus and grilled onion. It didn't have much flavor. But with it was good. I'd get again and ask for extra grilled onions. Like extra extra. Fries were good. I had their strawberry dragonfruit lemonade. It was refreshing. Alcohol - the mango margarita really hits the spot. That purse they use is really good. Needs a lot of tajin though. I had a smidge of tajin. Jameson on the rocks - this was great. It was cold and was smooth to the touch. Hit me hard and fast. Would go again.
